Bob Spurrier started Kingsley Optical in 1978 with one goal: the most accurate, highest-quality eyeglasses in the Dallas area. Today his son Robert carries on the tradition — modern technology with old-fashioned customer service.

Where is Kingsley Optical located?
We are at 7215 Skillman St, Suite 316, Dallas, TX 75231, at Walnut Hill and Skillman in Lake Highlands. We have moved, so this is our current location. Look for our sign and the blue OPEN light, with parking right at the door.
What are your hours?
Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, and closed on Sunday. Call 214-341-2908 if you want to check before you come by.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk-ins are welcome, and there is no appointment needed for adjustments or repairs. Stop by any time during business hours.
Do you repair glasses?
Yes. We fix hinges, temples, nose pads, and lenses in our own lab, and adjustments are always free. If your glasses are slipping, pinching, or sitting crooked, bring them in.
Can I keep my current frames and just get new lenses?
Yes. If you love the frames you have, keep them on your face while we make your new lenses, then we fit the lenses into your frames.
Which eyewear brands do you carry?
Lindberg, Gucci, Maui Jim, Tom Ford, Costa Del Mar, and more. The Brands page lists everything currently in the shop, for both eyeglasses and sunglasses.
Which lenses and coatings do you use?
Zeiss, Varilux, and Shamir lenses with the newest anti-reflective coatings, plus blue-protect and mirror coatings. We also make task-specific lenses for computer work, shooting, golf, night driving, and dive masks, and we cut prism lenses accurately in our own lab.
How long has Kingsley Optical been in business?
Since 1978. Bob Spurrier opened the shop that year, and his son Robert has run it since 2013. It is still family owned, with certified opticians who fit, adjust, and hand-check every pair.
